THOM EVANS managed one Premiership start at Wasps last season and made more of a name for himself as the singer in a boy band which used to support Westlife.

Now, a matter of months after transferring to Glasgow, he is in Scotland's squad for the November matches against Romania, the Pacific Islands and Australia. Despite having been capped by England at under 21 level, the 21-year-old from Zimbabwe qualifies to switch allegiance because of a Scottish grandfather.
