Summary
THE big betting sports have gained a first significant victory in their combined campaign to get a better deal from the bookmakers. The Gambling Commission, following pressure from cricket and football in particular, have made it compulsory from September 1 for bookies to share information with the relevant sports authorities if there is a concern shown about irregular betting patterns.
