Summary
FURTHER to what you might expect of Stonehenge (Mail), in 1970, my wife and I spent our honeymoon in that area and were able to view the monument in all its magnificent beauty, for nothing.
On a homeward journey from London to Cornwall some time in the Eighties, somewhere along the A303 I came across a group of hippies making their way to Stonehenge for the summer solstice. It was great to follow this convoy, watching many in old green costumes and playing flutes, and the smokey chimneys of the old vehicles they drove.See the full content of this document
