SPRAY-ON liquid skin is saving the lives of severe burns victims at the hospital where Sir Archibald McIndoe did pioneering work on badly burned aircrew during World War II.

Those being treated at Queen Victoria Hospital, East Grinstead, West Sussex, include badly scalded children who are being sprayed with the liquid skin in an attempt to save them from a life sentence of reconstructive surgery and scarring.
