Reading . . . . . . .1 Wigan Athletic . . . . . . . .1 READING central defender Ivar Ingimarsson played a huge part in snuffing out the division's most potent goal threat and then said: 'There is no team in this league we should fear.' Wigan's 21-goal strike force, Nathan Ellington and Jason Roberts, were again frustrated as Paul Jewell's team slipped off the top of the table.

Though they were hampered by an injury to Lee McCulloch that led to Ellington being switched to wide left midfield for three quarters of the game, there is no doubt other teams are getting wise to the Wigan pair.
