SEAT won all three races at the opening round of the Dunlop British Touring Car Championship at Brands Hatch yesterday as the event came to an early climax when reigning champion Matt Neal crashed out.

James Thompson won the first two races in the SEAT Leon and teammate Jason Plato made it a perfect day for the team. But an incident involving Neal and Rob Collard saw Neal's car end up in the gravel trap during the third race, which had to be stopped early. With 75 per cent of the laps completed the result was declared with a delighted Plato in first.
