Summary

ASCOT Gold Cup hero Yeats has been entered in the Prix de l'Arc de Triomphe at Longchamp on October 4 and joint-owner John Magnier indicated that there are no plans to retire him in the wake of his record-breaking fourth win at Royal Ascot last Thursday. The race is just one of several options connections are considering before the season ends. Magnier said: 'His future will revolve around Goodwood, The Curragh and Arc weekend in Paris. It will be a mixture of these three options.'

LEADING US sprinter Cannonball is heading home and will miss the July Cup at Newmarket. The four-year old, runner-up to Art Connoisseur in the Golden Jubilee at Royal Ascot last Saturday, is being shipped back to America.
