WE'RE told the Government has its beady eye on middle aged wine- drinkers who imbibe too many units in one go (Mail).
As one so targeted (I drink one or two bottles an evening), does this mean that, on recycling days, as well as having a micro- chipped wheelie bin, my empty bottles are going to be counted against a monetary penalty? If so, I'm fortunate in that my neighbours' boxes are relatively empty and I can offload a few on them.See the full content of this document
