FORMER Shell chairman Sir Philip Watts has lost a battle with the City regulator over its handling of the oil giant's reserves scandal.
Watts, who left Shell in March 2004, claimed the Financial Services Authority's damaging final notice against Shell in August last year which led to a Pounds 17m fine had prejudiced the watchdog's investigation into his own role in the affair.See the full content of this document
