I'VE recently returned home from a short stay in Ireland and must comment on the unfailing helpfulness and, at times, sheer physical effort extended to me, a wheelchair user, and my sister, who is my carer.
From the people who saw us safely across a busy road and the ferryman who helped us negotiate steep slopes, to the staff in Blarney Castle who helped us across an awkward path, all we encountered was kindness.See the full content of this document
