TYCOON Donald Trump's private plane may be refused permission to land when he makes an emotional trip to the Hebridean island where his mother was born.

A planned strike by island airport firefighters on June 9 may scupper plans for the U.S. businessman and his sister to visit the croft at Tong, near Stornoway on Lewis, where his late mother, Mary Anne Macleod, grew up. She died in 2000.
