Summary

I'D LIKE to bring to the attention of the Scots some unacceptable hatred against America and other countries at the T in the Park event.

I got to the main arena with my friend from the U.S., and she went to buy an American flag at the flag shop. The man said: 'This is the first American flag I've sold in three days, it's not that popular.' After that, Scotland's 'best event' and the proud Scottish people soon showed their true colours toward the Stars and Stripes, in the form of obscene gestures and insults such as: 'You're either really brave or really stupid', 'What the hell are you doing in my country?' and 'Die you f****** Yank' and even a chant of 'Blow up America!' People tried to break the pole or tear the flag. One threw cigarettes at it and another tried to set it on fire with a lighter - which reminded us of the post- 9/11 footage we saw on TV.
