Summary
I STRONGLY believe that to help curb the anti-social behaviour and mindless vandalism that plagues our communities, the courts must start ordering the vandals to make a full compensation payment for everything they have destroyed. I have noticed that when these people are caught and sentenced, the court imposes a fine, suspended sentence or community sentence but there is no mention of the costs the victim or indeed the insurance company who have to pay for the damage incurred.
Make them pay in full regardless of their financial position and they may think twice before doing it again.See the full content of this document
