WORKERS at Vauxhall have agreed a two-year pay freeze and extensive cost savings in a deal with its new owners to save the company's two UK plants and more than 5,000 employees' jobs.

The Unite union said it had struck a deal with new Vauxhall owner, Magna, which means there will be no compulsory redundancies.
