CIDER vinegar is being tested for its benefits in boosting levels of good cholesterol. It is thought that the vinegar, made from apples, may help stop enzymes within the body breaking down good cholesterol, raising its levels.

Cholesterol, a type of fat made by the body, comes in two main forms -- high-density lipoprotein (HDL) which is 'good' cholesterol, and low-density lipoprotein (LDL) or 'bad' cholesterol.
