ENGLAND have put Chev Walker on a fasttrack to the World Cup, hoping he will blaze the cross-code trail pioneered by Jason Robinson.
The similarities between them extend to more than sharing Rugby League Test status for Great Britain. A native of Hunslet, Leeds, like 'Billy Whizz', Walker also began his career at the same junior club and will be converting to rugby union at Bath, just as Robinson did for a loan period a decade ago.
