MILLIONS of Britons struggling with their weight are failing to recognise that getting a good night's sleep is crucial to staying slim, says leading sleep researcher Dr Neil Stanley.
He claims that not enough of us are aware that lack of sleep causes the 'hunger hormones' to malfunction. This leads to an increase in appetite -- and an inability to recognise when we've had enough -- as well as sugar cravings.
