AN ACCOUNTANT who claims a top City firm sabotaged her career yesterday launched a record Pounds 40million claim for victimisation. Mihaela Popa, a 31-year-old Romanian, quit auditor PricewaterhouseCoopers in November 2006 after suffering a nervous breakdown.

Miss Popa has previously alleged she was made to 'feel like a prostitute' in her time at the firm's London and Chicago offices.
