Summary
TIMOTHY SPALL, Deborah Findlay, David Harewood and Jacob Anderson, who star in Gunrush, a powerful drama made for ITV that will be screened later in August. Spall (pictured) and Findlay play parents whose student daughter is gunned down in a supermarket.
Spall is a driving instructor, a quiet man who usually leaves his wife to do all the talking. But the death of a child unleashes something in him - particularly when the police seem to be impotent in tracking those responsible, let alone finding the murder weapon. The performances are very strong indeed, and Anderson is a real find. By the way, Harewood - along with the dazzling Lorraine Burroughs - just transferred from the 503 Theatre in Battersea into the Trafalgar Theatre in Whitehall in the play The Mountaintop.
