I SEE that South of Scotland list MSP Christine Grahame is shouting the odds about staff at the National Library of Scotland being banned from displaying Saltires on their desks.
I could suggest a far better cause for her to fill in the plentiful amounts of spare time she apparently has, namely she should do something about the unemployment in the Borders, which has almost doubled since February 2008. Or would that be too much to ask of her as it wouldn't bring the publicity she seeks and thrives on? I never fail to be amazed at Mrs Grahame and her 'Scottishness' campaign: she was born very far south of the Border in the Midlands.
