BRITISH companies have been accused of 'burying their heads in the sand' in response to the rise of massive new export markets such as China, India, Russia and Brazil.

According to a survey for accountants Grant Thornton, over fourfifths of British firms have no ambition to sell goods to China, while 90pc are ignoring India's potential.
