AN antiwar campaigner who refused to follow police procedures governing demonstrations close to Parliament was fined Pounds 350 yesterday after becoming the first 'protest organiser' to be prosecuted for breaching new legislation.
Writer Milan Rai, 40, staged a peaceful protest outside Downing Street last October at which he read out the names of 1,000 dead Iraqi civilians.
